If you read this please leve a comment saying that you read it so that I know who all is informed.
So, yesterday's movie marathon worked probably half as well as I'd planned, but that was to be expected so I would call that a success. we got some stuff done and watched some cool movies and all in all it was pretty fun (with the exception of my inferno basement).
However, the real reason I am writing this is not to inform you guys about something that most of you did yesterday but instead to detail to you about what we will be doing for the next several weeks. Production. In a few days the script will be released to the public so to speak and I need you guys to help market it when that happens (I don't know, post a link on your facebook or something). This way we can draw in enough actors to fill the roles. Once the roles begin to fill up we will begin to shoot the film. everyone needs to have read the script at least once by then, this is crucial. You guys who are acting are allowed to read over your scrips before we shoot (If you choose to have them printed save them on a flash drive and take them to kinkos. They'll print and bind the thing for like 5 bucks.) but NOT FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME. I'm not going to be hiding a copy of the script somewhere for you to read it as we shoot.
a typical filming session will look as follows.
1. Friday evening: meet at starbucks (across from the avenues) and go over the plan for the next day.
2. Saturday Morning: Meet early in the morning (like 8) for breakfast then setup.
3. Saturday Morning: Begin shooting (we will shoot scenes per location so every RADIO STATION scene will be filmed during the same shoot etc.)
4. Saturday whenever we finish shooting: go home.
-- Days off from school are super important. we can shoot even more and get filming over with faster. Try very hard not to be out of town.
Our first planning meeting will be at the Starbucks at 8 pm on Friday. We will be going over the script as well as more info about the filming schedule.
